What would happen if the there was an ectopic pacemaker site that was deplorizing at a regular rapid rate?

There would be an irregular rapid atrial rate with a saw tooth pattern called Atrial Flutter. 

Rhythm

Atrial rhythm is irregular, ventricular is usually regular but not always

Rate

Atrial rate 250-300
Ventricular rate is usually 150 but slows with treatment.

P wave

Will be seen as flutter wave in lead II – looks saw tooth- shaped

PR interval

Not measurable

QRS complex

Usually within normal limits of 0.6 - .10 seconds

T wave
